ORIGIN
Wealthy young scientist Robert "Shock" Gibson wants to better mankind by integrating electricity into the human body. Gibson eventually discovers how to harness electricity using a special device to empower himself. With his new power to "humanize electricity" Gibson fights crime in the first of several costumes.

POWERS AND ABILITIES
When SHOCK GIBSON is fully powered, he can generate enough electricity to shock an entire river, weld metal, and even blast through metal walls. The super-strong SHOCK GIBSON can also fly and generate electromagnetism to a limited degree. Without his electrical powers SHOCK GIBSON the Human Dynamo still has great strength and stamina and is a skilled detective and scientist.

HISTORY
The costume worn here is the second of three "standard" costumes that SHOCK GIBSON wears over his long career.
