Laughing Mask

ORIGIN
Dennis Burton, a young assistant DA in the "big city," comes from a long line of lawmen. Dennis sees that it has become too difficult to convict gangsters through the court system, so he decides to take the law into his own hands. Armed with two .45s, he creates a costume and a glowing mask with a sinister grin, and begins his fight on crime as the LAUGHING MASK.

POWERS AND ABILITIES
Apart from his athletic abilities and his deductive skills, the LAUGHING MASK has no powers.

HISTORY
The LAUGHING MASK is a killer vigilante, who can even shoot a bound and helpless gangster without showing remorse. He only laughs through one adventure before disappearing from crime fighting.

What happened to him? No one knows for sure, but not too long after this another man known as Dennis Burton took to fighting crime as the costume and masked crime fighter known as the PURPLE MASK (see individual entry). They may have been one and the same, but for now there are no direct links between these two men.
