Roll Call

Very interesting. Here is a hero from France in the profile on...

FANTAX

ORIGIN
Lord Horace Neighbor works as an attaché at the French Embassy in Washington during the day but fights crime by night as the caped crusader, FANTAX aided by his paramour Pat, who sometimes dons a costume as LADY FANTAX (see individual entry).

POWERS AND ABILITIES
FANTAX has no special powers but is a superb fighter and detective.

HISTORY
His enemies include the Mikado, the Gentleman Ghost, the Werewolf, the Cobra and many more. Fantax also fights the Ku-Klux-Klan, the Mafia (led by Al Capy), the Nazis, and various secret societies like the Black Tigers. FANTAX fights around the world wherever he finds evil. Eventually he and Pat marry and have a son Horace Neighbor, Jr., who, when a teenager, takes on the costumed role of BLACK BOY (see individual entry) fighting crime on a souped-up red motorbike. His father, now older, makes occasional appearances to aid his son.
