THESSON

ORIGINS
On an archeological dig on Crete, Doctor John Thesson finds the ring of Theseus, which gives him super-powers. Some think that Thesson is the reincarnation of Theseus. At the festival of Thesia, the elders of Crete intone: "With the immortal ring of Poseidon—conquer!" Then John Thesson responds, "Father, I pledge it!” And with that oath taken, the ring is permanently awarded to John. He is dedicated to endless combat against tyranny, crime, and destruction as THESSON, Son of the Gods.

POWERS/ABILITIES
John as Thesson is super-strong and can leap great distances.

HISTORY
In his first adventure, he uses his great powers to thwart a band of robbers on the dig site, where he and his associates are working. He then goes on to a brief but distinguished career.
