ORIGINS
When a vat of extremely "white hot metal" splatters its contents on foundry worker Patrick Dempsey, he is transformed into the MAN O' METAL

POWERS/ABILITIES
Whenever Pat is exposed to heat, be it a fire, a spotlight, or even an accidental brush from a lighted cigar, his skin turns blue like steel and begins to flame hot enough to burn his way through the thickest barrier. But despite his name, the MAN O' METAL is really a man of flesh. He can be knocked out or killed when he is not in his flaming form. In his "active" state however, any weapon or projectile that comes near him will melt.

HISTORY
Patrick Dempsey quits his foundry job and becomes a private investigator. Fortunately, he is smart enough to remove his shirt and jacket before going into action. The MAN O' METAL had 21 adventures before he called it quits.
