THE SCARAB

ORIGINS
A reincarnated AKH-TU-MEN, high priest of the Egyptian sun god, gives PETER WARD a magic ring with which to fight evil. Calling upon the gods of ancient Egypt as he rubs his magic ring, Peter Ward becomes the SCARAB.

POWERS/ABILITIES
The Scarab has superhuman strength and the power of flight. At times he seems to be invulnerable, but at other times the Scarab can be felled by a blow to the head or knocked out by a powerful blast.

HISTORY
The Scarab is aided by Akh-Tu-Men who takes the form of a black cat, who speaks only to Peter or the Scarab. Wherever evil rears its ugly head, Peter and Akh-Tu-Men are there.
