| Not even the publisher of the Daily Express knows that Perry Chase, his sissified reporter son is the dauntless Press Guardian. Perry cannot reveal his double identity for too many underworld characters would like to see the Press Guardian six feet underground. He has been a thorn in the side of the crime bosses that would rule his city if not for the Press Guardian’s tireless efforts! Only his secretary Cynthia Blake knows that Perry Chase is the Press Guardian! The Press Guardian has no extraordinary powers other than his zeal to do good and see justice be done. |

Quite true, Miss Justice. It’s worth noting that the Falcon (see individual entry) protected the Daily Express before the Press Guardian. But after only one adventure the Falcon mysteriously disappeared, and the Press Guardian stepped in to battle crime in all its insidious forms! |
