The
Jack of Spades

1944: In a gambling den an innocent man has been murdered! Clutched in his hand is the winning card, a jack of spades! As the card falls from the man’s fingers to the floor a strange phenomenon occurs! Slowly a figure rises from the card and comes to life! "You have not lost your life in vain! Your last breath became my first breath!" These are the first words of the Jack of Spades! He vows, "Because of this miracle, I dedicate my life to aiding the downtrodden, the weak and the innocent until I rid the world of crime!"

The Jack of Spades then returns to his paper form, where he may always be found in any deck of cards awaiting the call of mystery and adventure in his battle against the forces of evil!

The Jack of Spades is incredibly strong and enduring. He can also fly.

The Jack of Spades only had two adventures and was never heard from again.
