1940, November the month for giving thanks: James Watson has every reason to be thankful for he has just begun his career as the Hooded Wasp! He and his young partner Jim Martin the Wasplet (see individual entry) have no special powers, but both are adept fighters, very quick of thought and deed. The Hooded Wasp and the Wasplet have 22 recorded adventures. Like the time... Snow falls over the small mountain town of Marshall, and the villagers celebrate a gala evening. But for the first time in twenty years a light burns in the Old Ghost Mansion, for this is the Realm of the Ghosts! Enter the Hooded Wasp and the Wasplet, hot on the trail of this mystery! Entering the old castle, they are confronted with a ghost! Battle is futile; the ghost cannot be touched. Suddenly, out of the shadows comes their old enemy Dundril, the Dwarf and with him a sinister new menace called the Mask! A fight ensues, and the Hooded Wasp and the Wasplet fall down a trapdoor into the dungeon of the old manor! But soon they escape, just in time to hear the plans of the two evildoers. They are searching for a map that leads to the gold buried beneath the town! Another battle breaks out, and soon the Twin Terrors of justice make short work of the two criminals! Then to their surprise the Mask (now unmasked) reveals the why of his plans and then shoots his accomplice and himself! |
