Magno
The Magnetic Man

    Pretending to be an idle playboy and making no effort to hide his identity, this magnetic superhero uses the dynamic forces of the Earth to attract and repel any metal object. And he can fly by riding the magnetic fields that surround the Earth. In addition, Magno is nearly invulnerable, since he can control any metal-based object that may come at him. He uses his great powers in the service of the U.S. Government. With the capability to divert or direct any substance that contains any metal, Magno is indeed a force to be reckoned with.

    His identity and origins are unknown. Eventually, he takes on a partner in a young lad known as Davey (see individual entry). Magno charges the boy with his own power, and he and Davey make a terrific crime-fighting team. Their most persistent foe is the insidious, maniacal criminal known as the Clown, who launches one outrageous scheme after another to destroy Magno and Davey. No matter how many times it seems that the Clown has met his end, he always returns to menace Magno and Davey again! But his schemes are of no avail as they are always triumphant over the villain.

    Magno and Davey were a relatively successful team, often referred to as the Dynamic Duo. They fought many bizarre villains, as well as common crooks in their long career.
