August, 1941 Rod Reilly is a rich, bored playboy with no purpose in life. Seeing that the latest fad is for costumed crimefighters to run around doing good deeds, Rod decides that he can don a mask and tights and fight crime as well. Enlisting his Man Friday Slugger Dunn, an ex-prize fighter, to aid him, Rod whips up the disguise of the Firebrand and turns the heat up on organized crime in his city. With only his natural physical abilities and a sharp mind, the Firebrand sets out to right the wrongs of the world. His yen for adventure serves Firebrand well, as soon he is involved in solving crimes of all types and helping the needy whenever he can. |

Remember, Fastman!, Firebrand's
career was not very long probably due to the fact that he had more chutzpah
than super powers. It was a wonder that he lasted as long as he did, which
was just a little over a year. Thought you'd like to know that.
