Doll Girl

    For many years Martha Roberts aids her boyfriend Darrell Dane, the Doll Man (see individual entry) in his fight on crime. In December 1951, Martha becomes a more active crimefighter as Midge, the Doll Girl. As Doll Girl, Midge can, like Doll Man, shrink down to six inches and still maintain her full-sized strength. At first she uses Doll Man’s original shrinking potion (the invention of Darrel and Dr. Roberts, Martha’s father). But, again like Doll Man, Doll Girl soon shrinks through willpower alone. Midge is an able fighter and athlete. However, she only has nine adventures before giving up the role shortly before Doll Man’s retirement. But while they are active, the two six-inch heroes make a formidable team.
