1941: the British have been fighting
to maintain their presence in North Africa. Caught up in the madness of
war with them is a America engineer Bill Dunn. He is the only survivor
of a bizarre battle in Ethiopia with the M'Bujies, a supernatural tribe
bent on world domination. An Australian soldier named “Boomerang” Jones
finds Dunn and nurses him back to health. Once he is well, Dunn decides
to stop the M'Bujies. Using wrecked equipment from the battlefield, he builds
the Blue Tracer, one of the strangest and most powerful war machines ever.
Resembling a plane with tank treads, the Blue Tracer can fly like an airplane,
dive like a submarine, and smash into objects like a tank shell. The Blue
Tracer also has several machine guns and a cannon concealed inside its nose-cone.
(See picture of the Blue Tracer ).
Dunn, now wearing a makeshift costume, and Boomerang Jones defeats the M'Bujies
with his magnificent machine. Thus begins the new career of Bill Dunn, who
is also dubbed the Blue Tracer. Sadly, his too brief adventures end
unexplainably. |
