The Yellowjacket

    When Vince Harley, a crime fiction writer for Dark Detective Magazine, is searching for the perfect crime plot, he becomes ensnared in a botched jewelry heist. The would-be thieves knock Harley unconscious and then use a conveniently handy carton of yellowjackets to finish off the meddling writer. Although hundreds of angry yellowjackets swarm around Vince Harley's prostrate body, he is unharmed because he is one of those rare people who are unaffected by bee stings! This harrowing experience has caused Harley to seek revenge against criminals everywhere as the crime-fighting Yellowjacket! He has also somehow acquired the power to command all bees and related insects and direct their efforts in helping him attack crime. He is always aided in his quest by these willing bees that will attack on command.

    As the Yellowjacket, Vince Harley is only a normal man with above-average abilities in hand-to-hand combat plus an inventive mind to direct towards solving the evil that criminals do. Oddly enough, the stalwart Yellowjacket has a career that lasts for 15 adventures in just a little over two years before retiring.
