"All you who would tamper with democracy will have Vapo-Man to contend with!" That is the calling card of Bradford Cole, who gains his amazing abilities in an accident when his laboratory is blown up by Nazi saboteurs. Brad is working on a chemical compound that will dissolve or expand any substance at will. Due to this act of violence, Brad now has the power to contract or expand his own body into vapor, and with this power he combats the evil and sinister menaces that threatens our hemisphere's defenses.

    Vapo-Man works many variations on his basic skills. Once he leaves an airplane by way of the exhaust and becomes a smoke screen. He then turns into a young hurricane to destroy a squadron of Nazi bombers! He can also become poison gas or a cloud. However, Vapo-Man has a very short career of only four adventures before disappearing into obscurity.
