Space Ghost

    Based on the aptly named Ghost Planet, Space Ghost is an interstellar police officer. He can fly and move freely in the vacuum of space, possibly with the aid of his belt and armbands. His other mode of transportation is the Phantom Cruiser, one of the fastest ships in space, which Space Ghost can render invisible at the flip of a switch. The cruiser is often piloted by his two teen-age companions Jan and Jayce, along with their pet space monkey Blip.

    Space Ghost’s belt allows him to become invisible and generates a force field around him, although not simultaneously. His communicator is located on his ghost-shaped chest emblem. Space Ghost's companions also possess a version of his emblem communicator. They also possess "inviso-belts" and jet packs for flying. They often pilot their own space "coupe," and Jayce some times carries a heat ray pistol.

    Space Ghost’s wrist power bands give him a wide array of powers. They fire various rays, including a freeze ray, a stun blast, an explosive burst, and a levitation beam.

    Space Ghost's most serious weaknesses are hallucinatory frequencies, which cause him to see hallucinations and whose effects are magnified by interaction with his force field. Space Ghost is the champion of the galaxies, upholding the laws of the universe as laid down by the Space Council on the planet Zio. Wherever evil is found, Space Ghost won't be far behind to extinguish the insidious deeds the miscreants and villains of the universe have devised. Space Ghost is a true hero.
