| Information clerk of Midwest City's public library was the occupation of Adam Blake, the man who was 100,000 years ahead of mankind in mental and physical prowess. On the night that Adam was born to John and Martha Blake, a comet appeared overhead and mutated the brain of baby Adam. Thus he possesses attributes that men will not have for 100 centuries to come. With his mind's latent powers, he can fly, levitate matter, and communicate telepathically. Adam could also put people to sleep by touching their foreheads. Adam Blake can also generate a force field which bullets cannot penetrate and throw out a telepathic force, which can translate into electrical power. With this amazing array of powers, the "man of tomorrow" battles the evils of the world as Captain Comet, the future man! |
