This next profile is one of America's
patriotic boy heroes. Buddy II |
| Captain Bill Powers is doing duty in America's armed forces. Unknown to his superiors, he is also the super-patriotic hero known as the Eagle (see individual entry under Eagle III). The camp mascot Buddy is his friend and partner. Whenever the Eagle soars into action, you can find Buddy riding piggyback on the Eagle's shoulders as he flies through the air. Buddy himself has no super-abilities like his friend but does dress up in a similar costume to that of the Eagle's. Buddy is a pretty good fighter for a boy his age and manages to keep up with the Eagle as they battle America's enemies. |
|
Don't forget, Pam, that,
in an alternate version of the Eagle and Buddy (see Eagle
II and Buddy I), Buddy is a Boy Scout and friend to Captain
Gary Powers, who is the war hero known as the Eagle (2nd version), and
this Buddy dresses up in his Boy Scout outfit, whenever he goes out to
fight enemy agents or criminals with the non-powered Eagle II.
