Mr. Terrific II

    The Bureau of Special Projects (BSP), located in Washington D.C., has created a powerful jawbreaker-sized pill that will endow only one human being with incredible powers for one hour. Unfortunately, that one person is Stanley Beamish, who is a reluctant employee of the BSP. Stanley swallows the massive pill on the orders of his boss Barton J. Reed and is transformed into Mr. Terrific, a powerful if inept crime fighter for the US Government. As Mr. Terrific, Stanley is super-strong, can fly (although he has to flap his arms to do so), and is immune to harm. Hal, his best friend and co-worker, aids Mr. Terrific in his sometimes-foolish attempts to thwart the evil plans of would-be world rulers. Mr. Terrific receives his orders from a mini transmitter in his tooth. Also, Mr. Terrific can take two additional booster pills after his hour of power wears off, and each pill will give him an extra twenty minutes of power.
