| Jim Rueben was turned into Fire-Man during a mad scientist’s deranged experiment. Jim gains the ability to fly and mastery over fire in all its forms. Of course, Fire-Man is resistant to any type of heat or fire. Jim Rueben then set up an operation called the "Fire-Man Association" to better serve mankind. Jim’s girlfriend Nancy knows his great secret and occasionally takes part in his cases. Most of these cases revolve around fire-related crimes, sometimes arson, sometimes sabotage, sometimes natural fires. With a simple touch Fire-Man can extinguish any fire as if drawing the flames into himself. Sadly Fire-Man had only four adventures before his career smoldered out in 1942. |
