| Startling news shocks the world of science! "Death of Dr. Flane!" reads the Sun headline. Weeks later, the grief stricken Carol Flane walks through her father’s now deserted electrical laboratory. "Dad was working on an experiment before he...he...died, ...I wonder..." she muses. Accidentally fingering the dials of his latest experiment, Carol receives an electrical shock and is thrown high into the charged air! An hour later she revives, but upon stroking her kitten Buster, she kills it stone dead! "I'm radiating a powerful electrical force!" she cries out. Three weeks later in a cellar hideout, a trio of crooks reads an ad in the local paper: "To whom it may concern, I, Electro-Girl, will give no peace to law-breakers! Take heed all wrong-doers!" The thugs laugh themselves silly. "Haw-HAW! A dame scares us!" But no sooner are they robbing the Realm Bank, than the vigilant Electro-Girl shoots them down with lightning bolts radiating from her fingers! "Awk!" cries the gang boss, "The dames a walkin' generator!" "Here is where I smash into my first adventure," Electro-Girl proclaims! And thus begins the electrifying career of Electro-Girl! |
