Doll Man

    Working with his colleague Dr. Roberts, scientist Darrell Dane perfects a liquid that can shrink a human being to approximately six inches. When gangsters menace Martha Roberts, Darrell's girlfriend and Dr. Robert's daughter, Darrell takes the fluid and comes to her rescue. After this adventure, he decides to fight crime as Doll Man. Darrell learns that through the power of his will he can shrink down to six inches and become Doll Man or return to his normal height Doll Man has the advantage at this height as he still retains his adult strength at this reduced size. Doll Man has a long and successful career as a crimefighter. For a time, he is aided by Elmo the Wonder Dog, but eventually Martha, becomes his crime-fighting companion as Midge the Doll Girl. The diminutive duo thwart evil until their careers end in the early 1950s.
