| Bruce Carter III, by calling upon the ghost of his Revolutionary War ancestor Bruce Carter I, receives the amazing powers of the Fighting Yank. Given a cloak by the spirit, the modern-day Carter can rip a propeller right off a helicopter and hurtle it like a boomerang. The Fighting Yank can fly and is impervious to gunfire; however, he can be felled by a knock on the head. In dire circumstances, Bruce’s ancestor can aid him with his ghostly powers. Only Bruce Carter's constant companion, Joan, knows the secret of the Fighting Yank! Fighting fifth columnists or crooks, the Fighting Yank remained on the job for several years. |
