    Robert Blake’s Indian scout grandfather raised him to run as quickly and as silently as a deer. Adopting an Old West disguise, school principal Robert Blake becomes the lariat-wielding Buckskin, defender of liberty and justice. Aided by his eagle Talon and the Liberty Club boys and girls, Buckskin fights valiantly against saboteurs and fifth columnists, who plague America's war effort. Armed with nothing more than his trusty lariat, his Bowie knife, and his fighting skills, the extraordinary man known as Buckskin is a formidable foe of evil and protector of the weak and innocent, enjoying relative success in his more than two years questing for justice.
