| From hell itself, the devil comes to claim men and women, body and soul. His envoys are the living dead, rotting corpses that walk and speak, their calling card an up-ended ace of spades, the symbol of death! Even the Bat, whom men speak of as a ghost or a thing from another planet, is mystified when faced with the "Spades from Satan!" The white bat is his symbol, striking fear in the hearts of evil beings everywhere, and also it acts as a notice that the Bat is on the case! The demon fighter knows no fear and cannot be corrupted by Earthly desires. Who is the Bat? What does his mission here on planet Earth mean for mankind? No one knows what the mysterious Bat has in store for the evil creatures that prowl the underworld seeking innocent victims for their own ends. Only the Bat stands between these victims and a fate worse than death! |
