| Having a magical gift bestowed upon him, young Rueben Rueben finds that when he says the magic words "HEY RUBE," he is transformed into the magical adult form of the Red Rube. Young Rueben travels the country as part of a circus, and its inhabitants are the prerequisite characters, the strong man, the fat lady and so on. Whenever he encounters evil, Rueben Rueben shouts out his magical word and is instantly transformed into the superhuman Red Rube. Powerfully strong, incredibly fast and very hard to hurt, the Red Rube is a force for good in a world plagued by corrupt people who would prey on the innocents in life. With aid from his circus friends, the Red Rube rescues those who need help in overcoming life’s harshness, for the Red Rube is the champion of the little guy. |
