Bombshell

    High on Mount Olympus, Mars, the God of War is looking down on Earth. Here he sees men making war! But Mars is very displeased, for "war was never meant for reckless slaughter." The war god decides to send his teenaged son Dryas down to Earth to battle the forces of evil. Dryas, armed with his magic sword, which can destroy the machines of war but cannot take human life, and his mystical shield, descends to Earth and takes up the name Bombshell, Son of War! Battling Nazi spies, with the aid of his sometime ally, Young Robin Hood (see individual entry), the brave and gallant Bombshell defeats the enemies of America, his newly adopted country. But soon Bombshell is gone after a few months of doing his father's wishes.
