| John Sargent is born a lucky man, for his very first sight as an infant is upon a magic gem, the "Ruby of Life." This gem serves him well when he reaches adulthood, for merely by speaking a magical incantation to the Ruby of Life, John Sargent is imbued with great power. Adopting the stage name of Sargon the Sorcerer, John Sargent travels the world battling evil. As a stage magician, no one believes that his amazing feats are anything more than fantastic tricks. The magic of the Ruby of Life allows Sargon to control whatever he touches. His friend and aide in his battles against the forces of darkness is Maximillian O'Leary. |
