Greetings! The Black Spider |
| Ralph Nelson, a district attorney in a large eastern city, crusades against those who would defy the law. Realizing that some criminals escape legal justice, Ralph Nelson decides to fight crime as a vigilante. With the aid of trained spiders that he keeps in an enclosed tube at his side, Ralph Nelson adopts the identity of the Black Spider, feared underworld crimefighter. But, ironically, working outside the law also makes the Black Spider wanted by the police, for they believe him to be a criminal mastermind. Secreted deep within a thickly wooded area just outside the city, a hidden cave contains the "Black Spider’s Web." The Black Spider uses this hideous web to extract information from criminals whom he brings to the cave. Criminals being generally a cowardly lot, they willingly give the Black Spider the information he seeks rather than face the deadly spider bites. Never getting the due that was his as the Black Spider, Ralph Nelson continues his crusade against crime for only a few years. |
