The "KING" of archers was the Bowman. Banding together with other heroes and heroines during the final days of World War II to form the Freedom Brigade, the Bowman was the ultimate archer, with special arrows to fit almost any need or occasion. His arch-rival was the wing-caped criminal archer known as the Sparrow, part of the Vendetta Squad. King would later go on to marry, producing a son, William King, who at his father’s request became the cowardly crimefighter known as the White Feather, a member of the Inferior 5. The identity of William King's mother is not known.
