The Panther Woman

    "American Adventuress Lost in Jungle" read the headlines in the newspapers back home in the USA. But nothing could be further from the truth. In actuality, the supposedly missing lady explorer, Marga, has become the protector of the native people she had come to live with and to love. Marga has an affinity for the wild animals in the jungle, especially the panthers who inhabit Marga's realm. Marga acts as justice for the local jungle populace against the intrusion of outside evil forces brought on by modern society’s intrusion into this lush paradise that Marga now calls home. Her adventures were first made known in 1940 and were known of as late as early 1942. After this time no more is heard about Marga. Whether she remained in her jungle paradise or returned to the United States is unknown.
