Our Foreign Friends

In this section we showcase characters from foreign publishers from 1940 to 1960 on whom we are seeking information. If you can help identify any of the following characters, you will be entitled to a drawing of your favorite Golden Age character. Provide a picture, and you will receive three drawings. This month we focus on the Australian heroes and heroines.

And now, to further complicate matters, the Mick Stone index gives us NEW characters to ask questions about. At least with the above information, we have some idea that the characters are in the range of the costumed hero. With the Mick Stone index, we have culled together 23 MORE possible / probable characters to add to the above list. Unfortunately we have no idea if these characters meet the criteria for inclusion in our Master Alpha List.

So here are the potential characters. If you have ANY info on them, let us know if they should be included in the MAL. The list is in alphabetical order by character’s name, then by comic book title (in cases of more than one title, we have added a plus [+] sign to the listing), and then by publisher.
